Surrounded by four quaint towns, it's  only on hour from New York city  and a great place to spend a day with your family and enjoy the many restaurants and recreational activities on the Lake and surrounding recreational spots.

There are many species of fish available year round in Lake Musconetcong. Chain pickerel large mouth bass pan fish catfish are some of the native species available to the fisherman. The lake is stocked with trout multiple times a year.

The Lake Musconetcong Regional Planning Board manages the health of the lake through a volunteer program funded by the four municipalities and the two counties which border the lake..
